Farmers across the country are protesting against the three farm reform bills passed by the parliament during its monsoon session. The three bills passed were  The Farmers’ Produce Trade And Commerce (Promotion And Facilitation) Bill, The Farmers (Empowerment and Protection) Agreement on Price Assurance and Farm Services Bill , and T he Essential Commodities (Amendment) Bill . What is farm bill 2020? Three farm bills were introduced in parliament on September 14 to replace the ordinances issued  during the lockdown. The farm reform bills have led to widespread protests across the country.  What does these farm bills scout to? Breaks the monopoly of the government-regulated mandis(markets) and allow farmers to sell directly to the private buyers.
